PENN BATTALION BOAT RODS

The Battalion boat is a tough rod designed to allow you to tackle large fish on relatively light balanced tackle. The two piece (long tip short butt) blank contains a special blend of high performance carbon to give an exceptionally lightweight, powerful, slim diameter blank. The tip action is progressive but increasingly powerful in the mid-section with a stiff butt, creating a rod with amazing sensitivity for bite detection and strength when fighting fish. This unique action is also designed to give maximum performance with either braid or mono lines.
