The rod holdall has two double padded pockets, one for rods and one for a beach buddy or igloo. AFAW have attached an additional twin pocket on the outside with a double strengthened base for taking up to two tripods.
Balance is key. When creating the rod holdall they took into account that everybody carries them differently. Some of us carry a rod holdall on the shoulder, others across the back of the neck. This means it was important that the heavily padded strap was added for comfort as well as balance.
To keep everything compact they have added two adjustable tension straps, one at the bottom and top. Also added a carry handle with a duplon grip.
The base of the rod holdall is double padded and has an external non-slip base.
