Due to the popularity of the MK1, it was clear that AFAW needed two models with the same action. A 90-200 gram rod and a 175-300 gram rod, the main differential being the latter is more powerful and has a greater casting range. The 90-200 gram rod has a fast J Curve tip which means you can use a lighter lead and line/braid to combat the tide.
